Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Kelly expresses regret that he walked with the President to St. John's Church in front of the White House. Wow. Sounds like yet another now "great General" (remember the press was trashing him non-stop when he was appointed) is smart enough to oppose this tyrant, President "We Hate You".
Excellent political optics for the media and the left.
The problem? That is what he said. It isn't why he said it.
"I should not have been there. My presence in that moment and in that environment created a perception of the military involved in domestic politics. As a commissioned uniformed officer it was a mistake that I have learned from and I sincerely hope you all can learn from." (While addressing graduates of the National Defense University)
Again, excellent political optics for the media and the left. Many in their audience took the bait and lemminged up the desired response. Even active duty Generals were abandoning the President. This is just one of the many responses from the CBS FB post below.
"All it took was one brave soul to speak out against 45, and then the others realized they had to as well. A little late, but grateful it is finally happening. FOX newscasters were the biggest surprise to me. God bless the press that finally pushed back."
It was clear from almost all of the comments that most didn't read the article. So from a message control view their post was a success. From a click bait point of view not so much.
CBS true to the 3As of Media MedEvac the book. Share it around. It's free. It shines the light on division marketing and the politics of polarization.
